Dario holds a Master of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles with Summa Cum Laude Honors, graduating at the top one percent of his class. He has experience working with individuals in crisis, with different medical and mental health diagnosis; providing support, interventions; case management, counseling, and psychotherapy for clients in home or in office. He’s experienced in collaborating with individuals and community service providers to promote a better quality of life for his clients. He has also advocated for vulnerable populations, lobbying with the NASW and his school at the state capitol. He’s been a member of the International Association of Social Work with Groups. Dario is passionate about helping others achieve their maximum potential. In his spare time he volunteers his time at Scripps Hospital in the ICU and in the community. Dario has also volunteered for PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) in Los Angeles, and UDLA (Unification for Disabled Latin Americans). Prior to working with individuals at the Human Services level, he worked in Human Resources for large companies such as The Walt Disney Company in Burbank, CA and The Los Angeles Times.
