Nijessia has a passion for learning and education. She has worked as a teacher with all age groups in ESL and social studies subjects. She loved seeing her students’ progress and helped them achieve their goals. She also majored in Social & Behavioral Sciences and Communications and earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Central Florida. She joined the field of Applied Behavior Analysis after taking a break from teaching. She transferred her skills to the ABA field and learned how to prepare and apply behavior interventions. She has a masters in applied behavior analysis from National University and she has worked in in-home services, clinical setting, and in the school system. She feels very fulfilled through witnessing changes in her clients’ lives and families. She plans on becoming a BCBA soon and she is very excited to share her knowledge of ABA and Project ImPACT with the families and employees of MTR. She loves spending her free time in nature and joining friends in music and dance events.
